"Buttons & Bows" at Mo's!

Hehehehe...I'm a poet!!

I'm excited because it's time for another fun challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog...I'm sad because it's my last week as hostess...and I'm excited because my friends and DT sistahs have come up with some more really fabby themes for the next several weeks! But, we'd better work on this week first, huh?! My theme: Buttons & Bows! That's pretty easy, right? Only 3 requirements to enter this fun challenge:

1. Use at least one button
2. Use at least one bow
3. and, of course, use at least one Mo Manning image!

So for this week's project, I chose this adorable little Mo Manning image called "Shy". She's available HERE at Mo's store.

I used cardstock from Stampin' Up (Baja Breeze & Pretty in Pink) and some lucious DPs from Heidi Grace's "Daisy Dear" collection...the yellow touches are special request from my sis, Dee! (This one's just for you, sweetie!)

The ribbon is from Stampin' Up (So Saffron)...and the seam binding inside is from the Ribbon Girl. the buttons are from my stash...I used Label 14 Nestabilities...oh, and the doily is from the Savannah, GA hotel we stayed in a couple of weeks ago when my hubby and I were on our mini vacay! LOL!

I used Copics to color this sweetie... E21, 00, 000, 0000 (skin); R20 (cheeks); R21 (lips); BG72, 10, 000, 0000, B21, 0000 (blues); RV34, 32, 10, 000 (pinks); E53, 51, 50, 15, Y21 (hair); G21, 20, YG63 (grass); Y18, 15, 13, 11, E53, 50 (bunny); W2 (shading); B0000 (light blue glow around this adorable little doll babyl!!)...and the fun sentiment inside is from Stampabilities!

So...that's what I've been up to lately! Now you'll want to pop over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog HERE to take a peek at the brilliant creations made by my uber talented DT sistahs!! Then, pull out those buttons and bows and your fave Mo Manning image (if you need a new one, check out Mo's Store HERE) and get crafting my dears!!! Remember to enter your "masterpiece" into this week's "Buttons & Bows" challenge at Mo's...and you may just win a free digi image from Mo herself! Whooohoo! Thanks so much for stopping by for a peek...and thanks for your kind comments. Until next time....

"Punch it" at LOTV!

Hi friends...just the quickest of posts...have to get to bed before I have to wake up for work! LOL!! Here's a little card I made for my step-daughter, Jenna. She's having a a librarian...and is in love. So this LOTV image seemed absolutely perfect!

I used some really yummy Prima DPs from the "Sparkling Spring" collection...and the main punch/die is one of my new Shapeabilities called "Fleur De Lis" from Spellbinders...the other punches are from Stampin Up and Martha Stewart!

The sentiment on the front is from LOTV...the inside sentiment is from Stampin' Up. Seam binding is from Ribbon Girl...and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

And finally, here's a peek at the inside...

So...I thought I'd enter this fun little card into LOTV's Thursday's Challenge #89 this week. Last time I entered, I won a 10 pound I went on a little shopping spree at LOTV...and got this very stamp! hehe!

OK...that's it for me...I'm off to bed! Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit..and thanks for all of your wonderful comments! Until next time...

Is "princess" an attitude? I think...definitely!!

Ooh oooh's Thursday again...yikes! I hope you are all having the best first week of Spring...well, except for those of you who live South of the Equator, that is! I'm hoping you're off to a fabulous Autumn! (Aren't you impressed that I paid attention in school and actually remembered that little factoid?! LOL!) So...let's get right to business, shall we? Our theme for Mo's DP2 Challenge this week is..."Show me some attitude!" Easy peasy, right? Why? Because it's up to your own interpretation!!

I chose my very, very first EVER Mo Manning image called "Jill is Two"...available HERE at Mo's DP2 online store. Can't you just imagine this pouty little princess pitching a fit because she didn't get her way?! hehehe! So...that's my interpretation: "Princess" is an attitude!

I found the best DPs called: "Enchanted" by Imaginisce...and the perfect little sentiment stamp from C.C. Designs...and then this sweet little card sort of came together all by itself!

I used Stampin' Up cardstock - Pretty in Pink & Bashful Blue...these colors are just yummy together, don'tcha think? And this charm couldn't be a better fit!!

Those dies are from Magnolia...and the flowers are from my fave online flower store - Wild Orchids Crafts! If you look closely, you'll notice Jill's shoes look like patent leather...thanks to a generous application of Glossy Accents!

Here are the Copics I used to color this little sweetie:
E21, 00, 000, 0000 (skin); R20 (cheeks); E53, 51, 50, 35, 33, 25, YR20 (hair); B23, 21, 000, 0000 (pinafore & shoes); R83, 81, RV32, 10, 00 (pinks); ground (W1, 00). So, that's it for you really MUST pop on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog and take a peek at the gorgeous creations made by my clever and talented DT sisters to give you some fun inspiration for this week's challenge!! So...pull out your crafting supplies and "Show us all some ATTITUDE!" . Remember, to qualify for your choice of one free Mo Manning digi image, you must use at least one Mo Manning image!! So many images with "attitude"...and so little time! hehehe! Thank you, dear friends, for stopping by for a visit...and for all your sweet comments!! Until next time....

I'm lovin' it! Thanks rock, babe!!

Now, I decided that I'd turn the sketch on it's side...and use one of my absolute favorite Simply Sassy images called "Fabulous Darling". These images are created by the exceptionally cute and talented artist, Krista Smith, and are all available exlusively at Funky Kits.

I used this fun lipstick paper from Magnolia...and decided that I just had to use this adorable sentiment from C.C. designs. Sooooo, that meant another twisted easel card! Whoo hoo! I love making these...they're such fun...and the end result is so unique, don'tcha think?!

Here's the "recipe" for my little card...
Cardstock: White with Pretty in Pink inked edges (Stampin' Up)

Let's hear it for the boys!

Guess what? It's Thursday again!! I'm tellin' ya, I love, love, LOVE Thursdays...because it means a new challenge over at Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog!!'s get down to havin' some serious craftin' fun, ok? I'm thrilled to be your hostess once again this week (geez, it's a good thing my "hostess duties" don't include serving hors d'ouvres...otherwise you'd be getting crackers and some of that squirty cheese from a can!) But, I digress...

If you've spent any time browsing my bloggity blog, you've probably noticed that I love making frilly girl cards. It's true...I confess! Well, this week I decided we should give the guys some "air time" our theme is...ta daaaaaa....
"Let's hear it for the boys!"

So, without further's my little card! I used this Mo Manning cutie patootie named "Harvard". Now don't tell my hubby that I said this, but little Harvard kinda reminds me of him...with those khakis & vest & coke-bottle specs. LOL!! And I think he's just adorable! Notice that I did give him a green honor of St. Paddy's Day!!

Here's a closer look at little Harvard...

He's really a handsome little fella, isn't he? And I bet he has to wear glasses because he always has his cute little nose in a book! In fact, I bet he goes to Barnes & Noble every single chance he gets...for a Venti Breve Latte and a toasted bagel with 2 pats of butter!! And the chance to read books for freeeeee! hehehe!!

I used Copic Sketch Markers & some fun DPs from October Afternoon called "Schoolhouse"...the sentiment is from StampingBella...the charm is from my stash...and if you look closely, you'll see that Harvard's glasses have Glossy give them "coke bottle" lenses!

And finally, a peek at the inside...

You know what comes next, right? You pop on over to Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog and feast your eyes on some of the cutest boy cards ever...courtesy of my sweet and uber talented Design Teamies. You'll see big boys and little boys and in-between boys! All adorable...and all such fun!!

And now it's your turn...please remember that you MUST use at least one Mo Manning image...and there are about a kabillion to choose from at Mo's online store HERE...and come up with your own "For the Boys" masterpiece!!

Hi sweet bloggin' buddies! It's Thursday again and that means it's time for another fabby challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog! Our theme this week guessed it...GREEN! I know, I know...not terribly original...but it seemed like a good idea at the time. Little did I know that everyone and their brother would have the same idea for a challenge theme this week. LOL!! Hmmm...but's an idea...make a card with one (or more) of your fave Mo Manning images and you'll be able to enter a boatload of challenges!! I know...brilliant, huh?! Imagine the possibilities! So...this week I used my brand new completely adorable "Teacup Fairy" available at Mo's Digital Pencil HERE. And frequently, Mo gives Facebook followers the most scrump-dili-icious this fabby DP!! Now, I've never used digi papers before this...but I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of Mo's gorgeous papers! Here are a couple of little "artsy" views...

So...a little more about my card...I used Melon Mambo cardstock from SU, and the sentiment is from LOTV. The flowers are from Wild Orchids Crafts. I didn't have any lime green or hot pink roses...or lime green I colored some whilte ones with my Copic sketch markers. Voila...instant color coordination! I also applied a healthy dose of Stardust Stickles here and there! Here's a pic of the Copics I used....

Now it's your turn...find a fave Mo Manning image and include something GREEN (as in the color green) somewhere in your project. Then enter it into this week's challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog HERE. Plus...she's given us this awesome sketch to follow.... biggest chllenge was deciding on which of my fabby Sugar Nellie images to use. Now, I've already mentioned how much I love Krista Smith's artwork...her Simply Sassy images are just so stinkin' cute!! So I selected "Bad HARE Day" (hehehe) available HERE at Funky Kits.

These little darlins are just so much fun to color! And they truly make the most adorable cards & projects!! So...without further's my little creation...

And a closer view...

Here are a couple of side views...

Here's a peek at the inside...
